Radiation Oncology

The UM Health-West Cancer Center has partnered with one of the premier names in cancer treatment, the University of Michigan Department of Radiation Oncology, for over 10 years to offer cutting edge radiation therapy treatments and deliver the best patient outcomes.

University of Michigan faculty physicians at the Cancer Center utilize videoconferencing to collaborate with colleagues in Ann Arbor and other clinics in the University’s Radiation Oncology Network to assure the highest level of care.

A state of the art linear accelerator makes it possible for you to receive specialized treatments such as IMRT (intensity-modulated radiotherapy), IGRT (image-guided radiotherapy), SBRT (stereotactic radiotherapy treatment), and VMAT (volume modulated arc therapy). This collaboration means that West Michigan residents receive the best possible care closer to home.
