A Typical Visit

As a progressive leader in health care, our approach to the Concierge Executive Health Program is different. We take a businesslike, comprehensive approach to meet the schedules of busy professionals.

A Head-to-Toe Assessment

We offer early-morning options, and the entire visit can be accomplished in a few hours. Participants spend no time waiting to be seen.

When patients arrive for their executive physical at the UM Health-West Professional Building, they are greeted by the Concierge Executive Health Program coordinator.

Patients then meet with their Concierge Executive Health physician, who will conduct a review of medical, family, and social history. While the structure is efficient by consolidating everything into one visit, we include plenty of one-on-one time for in-depth discussion between doctor and patient. Our physicians will spend whatever time is necessary to discuss personal and family health history, goals and any questions the patient has.

Next, patients undergo a complete physical examination. Based on the results of this examination, the doctor will recommend any necessary health screens and lab work.

Patients spend time at various test areas in UM Health-West Hospital with little to no waiting between testing. After completing these tests, a healthy breakfast is provided while patients meet with the Concierge Executive Health Educator to discuss any available results and any recommendations for further treatment or testing.

After the visit, we provide a follow-up packet, including a physician report, lab results, and preventive health education tools. All results are mailed to the patient’s home address and, if desired, to the patient’s primary care physician’s office in one to two weeks following your visit.
