Medication Compounding

At University of Michigan Health-West, the Department of Pharmacy Services has expert pharmacy staff that are trained to prepare all of your medication needs.  The pharmacies across our system meet or exceed Federal DEA, FDA, CMS, State Public Health Code, and State Board of Pharmacy standards.  Our medication compounding services are compliant with the requirements listed in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) chapter <797> for Compounded Sterile Products. 

Our pharmacies are located at:

  • University of MI Health-West Hospital
  • University of MI Health-West Cancer Center at the Village
  • University of MI Health-West Park East

Each of our pharmacy facilities have been designed and engineered to meet the stringent operational, quality and safety requirements set forth by the following agencies:

  • Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC)
  • Joint Commission – Medication Compounding
