Clinically Integrated Network

The Metro Health Integrated Network works to improve health care through innovation, efficiency and physician leadership.

Improving care, controlling cost

It began in 1995 as the first physician health organization in West Michigan – an equal partnership between Metro Health Hospital and Kent Health Care Physician Organization (KHCPO).

In 2016, the group transitioned to a Clinically Integrated Network – a jointly governed group of providers (independent physicians, employed physicians, hospitals, health systems) that develop mechanisms to monitor and improve the utilization, cost and quality of health care.

By bringing providers together throughout the health care system and across wide geographic areas, our physician leadership encourages sharing of best practices, problem solving and process improvement.

In 2017, Metro Health PHO changed its name to Metro Health Integrated Network to signify the transition.
