Aphasia Support Group

“Aphasia” is difficulty with language affecting the ability to speak and understand speech, as well as reading and writing. This group is an opportunity for people with aphasia to support each other and practice communication in a supportive environment.

Location

Classes have temporarily been suspended in order to keep everyone safe and healthy, and will resume when we believe it is safe to do so. Please check back regularly for updates. 

“Aphasia” is difficulty with language affecting the ability to speak and understand speech, as well as reading and writing. It most commonly results from brain injury after stroke. This group is an opportunity for people with aphasia to support each other and practice communication in a supportive environment. Education about aphasia and communication strategies will be provided. Caregivers are also welcome.
