When it comes to making choices about the best diet to follow, it can be extremely confusing and frustrating. Check out our upcoming class, where Registered Dietician Nutritionists will be discussing the current diet trends, pros and cons, and considerations to make following any specific diet plan. Stop the Bleed Training Class

Stop the Bleed is a national initiative sponsored by the American College of Surgeons and has the goal of training millions of civilians to identify and stop life-threatening bleeding in the crucial minutes after an injury. University of Michigan Health-West is dedicated to the communities we serve. That is why we invite you to attend a free one-hour training session. Registration is required. All who attend will be given a free Stop the Bleed T-Shirt.

Join us for an upbeat 25 – minute strength workout using light weights and bands, followed up with 25 minutes of cardio dance. Registration is required.

Gentle Yoga – Virtual Class

Gentle, deep breathing, light stretching and relaxation await you when you register for this virtual class. No yoga experience necessary as you will learn about its health benefits and how you can apply yoga principles to your daily life. Enjoy this practice in the comfort of your own home! Thursday Intermediate Yoga – Virtual Class

If you want to take your yoga practice to the next level, this is the class for you. In addition to helping you further develop strength and flexibility, this class features vinyasa (flowing from pose to pose). We will also teach yoga principles that you can apply to all aspects of your life. Enjoy this practice in the comfort of your own home!
