Instructions
DO NOT take this medicine by mouth.
Apply the medicine to the affected area.
Wash the skin that is to be treated with a mild soap or cleanser. Gently pat dry. Wait 20-30 minutes and then apply the medicine. Using on dry skin may reduce skin irritation.
Place small amount of medicine on several areas of the skin and then rub gently to spread over entire area to be treated. If the medicine is still visible after spreading it, or skin becomes flaky soon after applying the medicine, you are using too much.
You may use your finger, a gauze pad or a cotton swab to apply medicine to your skin. If gauze or cotton is used, avoid over-soaking it so that the liquid doesn't run into your eyes, nose or mouth.
Keep the medicine at room temperature. Avoid heat and direct light.
This medicine should only be used on the skin.
Do not use any other acne medicines on your skin while using this medicine unless instructed by your doctor.
Do not apply other lotions, creams, gels or cosmetics to the same area for at least 1 hour.
Avoid getting the medicine in the eyes, nose, or mouth. Wash the medicine off your fingers after applying it.
Avoid prolonged or excessive sunlight exposure. Use sunscreen lotion with SPF 15 or higher.
Wash your hands before and after handling this medicine.
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth after handling the medicine.
If medicine gets in your eyes, rinse well with warm water.
Do not shower, bathe, or swim for at least 1 hour before or after applying the medicine.
Avoid long exposure to extreme weather such as wind, cold, or the sun.
Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all your medicines. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines.
Do not freeze the medicine.
This medicine is flammable. Do not use it near heaters, open flame or while smoking. Do not crush, puncture, or burn container.
Do not take the medicine more than once during 24 hours.
Cautions
Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.
Do not use the medication any more than instructed.
It is unknown if this medicine passes into breast milk. Ask your doctor before breastfeeding.
During pregnancy, this medicine should be used only when clearly needed. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits.
If you are using this medicine regularly, it is important to take each dose of medicine on time. Keep taking the medicine even if you feel well.
It is important that you keep taking each dose of this medicine on time even if you are feeling well.
If you forget to take a dose on time, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, do not take the missed dose. Return to your normal schedule. Do not take 2 doses at one time.
Do not share this medicine with anyone who has not been prescribed this medicine.
Side Effects
