Instructions

Check the medicine before each use. If the liquid medicine has any particles in it, appears discolored, or if the vial appears damaged, do not use it.

Keep medicine at room temperature. Protect from light.

This medicine should only be used by a person who has been trained to recognize when and how it should be used.

Ask your doctor, nurse or pharmacist to show you how to use this medicine correctly.

Family, friends, and coworkers should all learn how to give this medicine to the patient.

Drug interactions can change how medicines work or increase risk for side effects. Tell your health care providers about all medicines taken. Cautions

After using this medicine, go immediately to the nearest medical emergency room.

Do not drink beverages with alcohol while on this medicine.

Side Effects

  • diarrhea
  • fever
  • high blood pressure
  • nausea and vomiting
  • nervousness
  • pain near injection site
  • rapid heartbeat
  • restlessness
  • runny nose
  • stomach pain
  • sweating
  • watering of the eyes
  • weakness

Call your doctor or get medical help right away if you notice any of these more serious side effects:

  • seizures

A few people may have an allergic reaction to this medicine. Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, swelling, or severe dizziness. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek medical help quickly.
