There is one word I want you to focus on this week: Believe. Whether you are a veteran or a newbie, a little doubt can creep in during the last few weeks prior to a race. Have I trained enough? Too much? I have never run this far before—will I be able to on race day? Answers: in order find out you gotta believe! This can be hard at times, but in the end the only way to know is to show up, and to show up you must believe (at least a little) you can do it. If part of you believes, let that part take control. You know there are a lot of people out there who believe in you—do you have the courage to believe in yourself?
