Neuro-Oncology
As a member of the Cancer Network of West Michigan, the neuro-oncology team provides:
- Diagnosis and treatment of patients with primary brain tumors.
- Management of neurologic complications of cancer.
- Administration of intrathecal chemotherapy for patients with leptomeningeal metastases from systemic cancer.
The neuro-oncology team specializes in the treatment of adults with malignant or cancerous tumors such as glioblastomas, as well as non-malignant tumors of the brain. They also specialize in cancers that have directly or indirectly affected the nervous system.
Through The Cancer Network of West Michigan, the neuro-oncology multidisciplinary team includes physicians with expertise in brain, spinal cord and ocular tumors, incuding:
- Neuro-oncology
- Neurosurgery
- Radiation oncology
- Neuroradiology
- Neuro-ophthalmology
