As an employer consistently named to regional and national lists of “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For,” Metro Health – University of Michigan Health (becoming University of Michigan Health-West) is pleased to announce sign-on bonuses for new hires at multiple positions across the organization.
The bonus opportunities range in scale from $1,000 to $10,000 and include retention requirements from 90 days to 18 months. The payments are part of a comprehensive and competitive benefit package that the organization provides.
“Our continued growth has created multiple opportunities for qualified healthcare professionals to learn what sets our organization apart,” said Jennifer Gonzalez, Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are excited to offer these bonuses to help grow our teams, just as we are proud to continue to develop new strategies to support our existing team members.”

The sign-on bonuses are part of a comprehensive strategy the organization has launched to ensure full staffing amid a period of growth and high demand for healthcare personnel. These strategies have included multiple supports for existing team members.
“Our employees know what it means to be part of our team,” Gonzalez said. “It means being a valued and respected contributor to a mission of relentlessly advancing healthcare to serve West Michigan. We are honored to invite others to experience this kind of highly rewarding and fulfilling career.”
