Cardiac Acute Care

The Cardiac Acute Care Unit is a 37-bed unit with a focus on cardiac health.  The patient population is comprised of patients with congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, hypertension, chest pain and post-procedure, such as pacemaker, ICD insertion or ablations.

This mixed acuity unit boasts a diverse patient population, additionally providing care to urological surgical patients, general Med Surg diagnoses (excluding pediatrics and stroke) and occasionally stable intermediate care (IMC) patients on high flow oxygen, CPAP and BiPAP.
