A seasoned adviser, liaison, and governance expert who supports the President through effective coordination and communication with the Executive Team, Board of Directors and Michigan Medicine. Represents the President in internal and external meetings. Serves on several committees both internally and externally. Promotes efficient and agile governance decisions, including by leading the merger of two boards of directors into a single board to better reflect expanding integration with Michigan Medicine and UMH-West’s stature as a progressive, innovative health system. Collaborates across departments within the UMH-West system as well as with Michigan Medicine. Experienced in philanthropy and community engagement; works with event staff to ensure public appearances accomplish the President’s objectives. Community involvement includes volunteering and nonprofit board service.
