University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a full-time Sleep Medicine Physician to assist in supporting a high-volume outpatient clinic practice. High caliber, quality focused, innovative providers should apply to join our well-established Sleep Medicine team in effort to continue to expand and provide care to local communities throughout West Michigan. Candidate will need to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.

Sleep Medicine Practice Features

Comprehensive; multi-disciplinary service line support available
Full time outpatient Sleep Medicine clinic

Treat sleep disorders including sleep disordered breathing, narcolepsy, abnormal nocturnal behaviors, restless legs, and insomnia.

Opportunities for clinical work in other applicable clinical specialties if training supports and candidate desires. I.e., Neurology, Pulmonology, Psychiatry
Assists patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and the resources available, including educating eligible patients about appropriate clinical research studies and technologies.
Assesses the patient’s ability to navigate the increasingly complex healthcare continuum, assists in identifying potential barriers to timely and appropriate health care, and develops plan of care to overcome such barriers
